Do you ever feel like every time something could go wrong, it does? I have this flight test that I’ve scheduled about 5 different times… and every single time we get ready to do it something goes wrong and it gets pushed back another week. And here’s the funny part, I’m supposed to get almost 20 of these flight tests done before the end of the quarter and I can’t even get the first one underway…. RAH!!!!!!!
30 days and no word. yes, I am alive.
you’ve already seen the results from when I was playing with the grill… so that’s one thing not to do.
well today, like every day, I was extremely bored. so I decided to go for a run…… except apparently I was feeling a lil froggy, so I ended up running all the way to walmart (from Carriage Hill). so like 45 minutes later I get to walmart and think, “oh cool they have water fountains inside, I’ll go get a drink.” or not. I get to the door and walk inside and one of the ‘greeters‘ kindly greets me, promtly telling me that even though I just ran 45 minutes to get there, I have to leave, because I don’t have a shirt on…. SWEET.
After our lovely run-in I wandered back outside and threw some rocks at her when I was a good distance away (okay, maybe I didn’t throw any rocks. but I should have).
When I left walmart I was kinda burnt out of running for a while, so I walked uptown and stopped at Lollipop to get some icecream. why I wanted icecream in the middle of running, I have no idea. but it didn’t matter, because they were closed…RAH. At this point I was angry again, so I just ran back to Carriage Hill from there. btw, the ~500 steps up the hill to my apartment are a great finale after running/walking for 2 hours.
I have no idea how far it is, but considering I havent ran in like, i dont know, a year.. it was a great combination of bad timing and running entirely too far. Next time I go out I’ll have to remember to put on clothes first.
let this be a lesson to all: dont run to walmart. especially naked. yeah. I guess I left that part out.. that I wasn’t wearing any shorts. maybe that’s why she wouldn’t let me in. who knows..
well that’s all the fun I can muster up for now, but pretty much every single day in athens during the summer has something interesting happen. so maybe you’ll get to read about another crazy journey in a week or so.

So I’m pretty sure I’m cursed.
First at some point in Daytona Beach someone stole Ben’s iPod and my iTrip out of the car. Second when I was putting my invisible shield on my cell phone yesterday, one of the pieces folded over on itself and became completely useless. Then today I was working on my computer (while it was on, so it was really my fault) and I accidentally got my hand too close to one of the fans and it hit my knuckle and gashed it open and broke a bunch of the fan blades off. I guess that’s what I get for buying 4800 RPM fans…
so I’m out $80 for the iTrip, $25 for the invisible shield, and $15 for the Panaflo fan. RAH!
